Silver Girl :Embryo 5 by JA Schneider

Jesse is growing. He's active and learning more everyday. People are still interested in his progress but it's not as bad as it was.  David and Jill are working just as hard at the hospital. It seems they can never get enough rest between work and Jesse.
Then a young, talented actress is just hitting her stride when she dies.  David and Jill know the young actress and are devastated by her death.  They offer to help the police as they have in the past on other cases.  The list of suspects keeps growing.  Everyone just wants justice for Jody, the young actress. Now, they just have to find the person responsible for all the mayhem.

WOW! I am consistently amazed by Ms. Schneider.  Her writing style is amazing. She has the ability to make you look over your shoulder and be frightened of the dark too.  Her characters make you feel like they are speaking directly to you.  Telling their secrets to you as you move at a wonderfully set pace.  I enjoy these EMBRYO books very much. This is number 5 and they get more complicated and more involved with each one. You get to know the characters as you would friends in your own life.  I felt the emotions of these people.  I wanted to help them find answers and warn them when danger seemed near.  YOU will enjoy this series.  I'm a fan for life!  You don't need to read every book in the series. They do stand alone. However, if you want the full experience of this series, get them all! These are books you'll talk about, share and re-read over and over.

     I didn't find any issues.

I gave this book 5 cheers out of 5 because it's a thriller series I've come to love!

And Forever by Danielle Sibarium

Things were finally in a good place for Stephanie and Jordan. Then it's time for Stephanie to leave for college.  She and Jordan are both feeling the heavy weight of separation.  They want to be together all the time.  So much seems to take place in those first weeks, spending time together was a luxury.
Insecurities begin to surface for both Stephanie and Jordan. Stephanie feels these insecurities and doubts more than Jordan, at least SHE thinks so.  Jordan always loved Stephanie and now they had a lot of things to work through.  Stephanie is feeling the pressure from all sides.  Will they work things out? They've waited so long to be together. Will it be forever?

AMAZING! Heart wrenching!  This book will climb into your heart and soul.  I cried, I smiled, I even laughed some.  The plot is complex and delivers on in all areas.  The characters could be people in your family or your town.  This is a story many can relate to.  I was so moved by this book, I never wanted it to end.  The tense moments were placed at just the right time to gain maximum effect.  You need to read this series.  I know I will, again and again.  Danielle Sibarium is one of my newest go-to authors. She really gives you something to get lost in.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because I wanted to be Stephanie.

You And I Alone by Melissa Toppen

Anna Blake is a college student and a dancer.  She knows better than most how it feels to have your dream ripped away.  She also knows she can only depend on herself. Everyone else she's ever loved or depended on left her.  Sex is fine but no commitment.
Bentley Reed is a powerful, rich and handsome man.  He's use to getting what he wants.  He's the type of man who doesn't take no for an answer.  When he meets Anna, the connection is overwhelming.
Now they've met, can Anna and Bentley put aside their rules for each other?

The heat these pages radiate  will blow you away.  This is the first book I can ever remember reading where the main female character has morals and scruples.  She makes it clear the dancing is just a job.  I fell in love with Bentley immediately. He's everything any woman could want in a man.  Then just to torment us readers, Ms Toppen makes Bentley ooze sex.  I zipped through this book, it's that good.  You'll feel like you are right there with this couple seeing through their eyes.  Ms Toppen does a phenomenal job of giving us solid writing and three dimensional characters we will be invested in.  Can't wait to read the next book in this series. Do yourself a favor and get this series. Not just one book, the entire series.  You can't go wrong.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 + cheers out of 5 because this book blew me away.

Loans, Lust and Lies by Cara Addison

There is something happening at Atlantic Bank.  An emergency meeting was called.  Kane McGregor and Matthew King must tell the board seventy million dollars is missing.  There will have to be an investigation.  WR& Associates were called in to do a forensic investigation.  Aubreigh Delany is the person in charge.  Her beauty and sex appeal make make this investigation a bit more interesting.   Both men find her attractive and can't wait to get their hands on Aubreigh.

Wonderful, exciting and an unexpected ending makes this book a terrific mystery.  There are twists and turns but you will never guess the ending.  I felt sorry for Matthew. He seemed shy and unsure of himself.  Having to tell the company you work for that such a large amount of money is missing must be horrifying.  Loved the writing style and the characters.  It's really a fantastic mystery.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it was equal parts mystery and sensuality.

Every Second Weekend by Cara Addison

CJ Adams is a divorced mother of two beautiful girls.  Her world revolves around her girls and her job.  She decides she needs to get out more.  Her friend invited her to a birthday party. CJ didn't know they'd invited colleagues of Matt's to the party.  It's at this party she meets Dale Anderson.  He's a teacher and new to the area.  When he spots CJ he knows he must meet her.  Their connection is instantaneous. Is it just a spark or perhaps a lasting flame?

This book is an excellent mix of love, fun and romance. It's sensual and seductive but also describes what divorced parents go through.  I  related to what CJ was going through.   The writing is fantastic and these characters totally believable and relate-able .  The sex wasn't just gratuitous sex, it was a very natural progression of events.  You'll enjoy this book and it will increase the heat level in your bedroom.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's an excellent book.

Silly Socks by Sandra Novello

Suzie needed a pair of socks.  When she looks into her sock drawer, it's empty. Where could the socks have gone?  Suzie decides to investigate.  She searches everywhere for her silly socks.  She does find them all but you'll be surprised where they hid.

Such a cute, well written book for the littles.  Your child will be excited to help Suzie find all of her socks.  The book it colorful and easy to read and understand. Books like these are perfect for anytime you need a quick read to keep your child busy.  They'll soon be reading it to you.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's fun!

Clive The Clever Crow by Sandra Novello

Clive the crow is smart. He watches and waits for children to leave bits and pieces of food for him.  If he can't find food that way, he'll sneak something from their lunchboxes.  He knows he will always find something.

What an adorable book! I love the colorful illustrations.  It's fun to read about animals with a personality like Clive has.  This easy to read book will be a favorite of your child's.  They will look at birds in a new way. Add this to your library.

      I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's original.

Lark Singer: Starlight Chronicles #2 by Lisa Orchard

Stevie, Bean and Lark makeup the band Starlight.  They are preparing for their first competition.  The winner of the competition gets a trip to New York and so much more.  Lark is trying to keep her mind on the band, it's not easy though.  She still has questions about her father. Her mother made her promise not to contact him.
Meanwhile, something is going on with Bean.  He's late for rehearsals and disappears for hours.  Lark thinks it's because of his older brother.  She's in for a big shock and many changes.  Follow her on her journey.

Three dimensional characters and fantastic writing make this book an interesting read.  I loved being able to see where Lark went with the knowledge of who her father was.  It was a shock to read what happens to one of the band members.  Never expected it.  Your heart will go out to these  kids.  The journey is well worth the read.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it held my attention throughout.

Black Suede Jacket AND Two Drinks At A Night's Waltz by Julio Bonilla

These two books are a series of rambling, nonsensical words. They are NOT books. They start nowhere and go nowhere.  Save your money and don't purchase these.

Savvy Stories: Funny Things I Learned From My Daughter by Dan Alatorre

Life is forever changed when Dan and his wife welcome Savannah, their daughter.  From the rough days right after childbirth to the first year of Savvy's life, Dan shares it all.  These new parents meet reality vs the baby books.  Lessons will be learned the hard way- by trial and error.  Milestones and surprises make the first year a busy one. This book will give you a look into one set of parents' way of dealing with things.

I did enjoy this book.  It took me back to when my three were newborns.   It's a heartwarming book and parents will enjoy seeing that someone else dealt with these issues too.  We weren't alone.  Funny and scary in equal parts, I felt like I could shout," I agree with you." in so many areas.  One thing that comes through easily is the love The Alatorre's have for their daughter.  Some of the stories will bring laughter and others will bring tears.  Oh the changes a new baby brings.

I did find some issues.  It's repetitive in places.  It rambles at times, but that is how we are as parents.  Much could be removed and there wouldn't be  any affect to the story at all.  In places it's more like a memoir of Dad more than funny things learned from his daughter.  I'm sure there were many more things Dan could have shared in place of these things.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the issues noted above.

Captain No Beard: Fribbet the Frog and the Tadpoles by Carole P. Roman

Things are changing in Fribbet's home.  He's not sure what to do.  He tells Captain No Beard and his crew about these new, strange animals are everywhere.  They changed too.  The animals were taking up all of Mom and Dad's time. They had no time for Fribbet.  The crew explains these are Fribbet's brothers and sisters.  Hallie has a new baby brother too.

I adore these stories.  They are colorful and exciting.  Each one captures the imagination of your child and let's them know anything is possible.  The child in your life will love these adventures.  The series should be part of every child's library.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because there is a lesson included in the story.

Below The Belt by Sidney Halston

Francesca had taken over the gym when her father was no longer able to deal with the day to day operations. She knew they needed a big name MMA fighter to draw attention to the gym.
Antonio 'Scarface' Marino's career was going down the tubes quick. Known for his antics with the ladies and the endless tabloid stories, Tony needed help to turn his career around.
Together, these two will make the gym successful again.  The one problem is they don't get along.  Frances is a no nonsense type person and Tony is all about having fun.  What will it take to bring them together for the sake of the business?

Extremely well written, this book is a fun read.  I enjoyed the slow building and sensual heat between Frances and Tony.  I liked the idea they had to really work to make this happen for them.  It was also really fun to read about places I've actually lived in.  The Florida heat simply added a layer to their already overheated bodies.  You'll recommend this book to your friends.  The characters are relatable and fun.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because the heat level was off the charts.
