Captain No Beard: A Flag For The Flying Dragon by Carole P. Roman

Captain No Beard and his crew have set sail on a new adventure. They also have a new crew member, Zach.  The day is going well for the entire crew until they realize Zach doesn't have a chore to do.  It's up to Captain No Beard to find a chore Zach is best suited for.  The job he gives Zach is very special and very important. It also solves the Captains wish for a flag.  Join Captain No Beard and his faithful crew as they work through yet another adventure.

This series of books really allows the children to open their minds and imagination.  The lessons they teach are just as important.  Each book contains an adventure your child will love to read about again and again.  You will be doing something wonderful for the child in your life if you get these books. They'll never grow tired of being part of the Captain's crew.  I love the illustrations with this series. So bright and inviting.  Get your copy today.

     I found no issue.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because of the valuable lesson it teaches.

Love On The Slopes by Amy Manemann

Jessa Hartley has a dream. She wants to own the Jackson Hole ski lodge.  She's been saving her money and the time is right. She didn't count on someone else buying the lodge. When she finds out who the new owner is, she's furious.  Jessa is not about to give in though.
Dominic DeRenzi  needed to find a safe place to raise his son. His first thoughts were of the town where he grew up. Dom knew his son would be happy there. He can't stop thinking about Jessa though.  With a miserable and failed marriage behind him, Dom just wants to find happiness again.
Can they let the past rest? They are closer than ever, still, Jessa isn't sure she wants Dom.

This book is extremely well written.  The plot, the characters and the setting make this a wonderful read.  I felt like I knew what Jessa was going through.  I stayed rooted to my chair with this one. Each page leaves you hungry for more.  The story is touching and sweet, just the thing to pick up
an otherwise ordinary day.  Ms. Manemann does a terrific job of keeping the pace up while making the reader feel as if they are watching a play or movie.  I'd love to see this one as a TV series or a couple of movies. Yes, it's that good.  I laughed at the way Jessa's brothers treated her. They provide many laughs in this book.  You'll be glad you bought this one!

     I didn't find any issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because I wanted to be part of this lively group.

Million Dollar Question by Ellie Campbell

Rosie is a single mother of two. She does her best to provide for the boys.  It would be so much easier if her ex would just send his child support on time.  Still, Rosie is happier being single.
Oliva is living the good life. Money, prestige and power guide her movements.  She's convinced her life can only improve with each day.
These women are both hoping for a change.  Neither could imagine the changes life has in store for them.  Worlds apart but still they manage to have their paths entwined.

What a wonderful lesson this book teaches all of us.  The message being the grass isn't always greener on the other side.  I laughed a lot while reading this one and I loved it.  Terrific writing with a well plotted story and characters we can all relate to makes this one sensational.  You'll be questioning yourself the way these two women do.  I felt as if this book was preparing me for changes in my own life. You can't go wrong with this book.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5  because it really speaks to me.

Today is the release for: Constricted by Becca J. Campbell

A brand new short story related to Becca J. Campbell’s Flawed series. This story coincides with the events in Empath (Flawed #1), and takes place in Logan's point of view. You’ll need to read Empath first to thoroughly enjoy this story.

If you haven't already, download a free copy of Empath (links below). Read on to find out more about Constricted.

Constricted (A Flawed Short Story)

Logan’s secret has been exposed. When Jade—a beautiful student at the college where he teaches—discovered the truth, he spilled the whole repulsive story. Jade’s empathetic kindness flooded him with emotions he didn’t know he had and isn’t sure he wants to deal with.
It would be the easiest thing in the world to leave and let Jade be a whisper in his past. He can exit now and regain his anonymity, or he can risk everything to stay and face her again.
It’s not an easy choice, and when he’s about to decide, a woman from his past shows up, making his decision even more difficult.
What really happened when Logan disappeared during Empath? Find out in this short story companion piece to Flawed #1.

Get your copy now:

Supernatural empathy isn’t a gift, it’s a curse. Anywhere she goes, Jade’s emotions are replaced by those of the people around her.

Jade grew up in a suburb of Colorado Springs, protected from other people by her parents. Now she faces college—and the world—with nothing to shield her from unwanted feelings.

When Cam, a classmate with a major crush on her, unintentionally hijacks her emotions, Jade struggles to keep from being carried away in feelings of attraction. When Ethan, a psychopath with a thirst for fear, fixates on her, the emotional impact could be lethal.

Caught in a deadly trap, Jade must untangle the emotions and find a way to use her empathic curse to overcome this killer or be overcome by him.

Empath is now FREE on most sales channels.

My Sexy Chef by Susan Jean Ricci

Malibu works for Priscilla as a junior editor.  When a client backs out of dinner meeting, Priscilla asks Malibu to join her.  They decide to go to the new 'it' spot, Scandals.  It wasn't an easy place to get seated.  While looking at the menu, Malibu glances up. There in the kitchen was a hot looking guy.  She couldn't stop staring at the man.
Mark is the chef at Scandals. He loves to cook and he's very good at what he does.  When he looks up to check out the dining room, his eyes land on this beautiful redhead.  She's distracting, but Mark is enjoying it.  He has to find out who she is and where she lives.

Intense heat after a chance meeting, Mark and Malibu could feel the electricity between them.  The writing is solid and the characters lovable.  The pacing is terrific.  It moves right along and before you know it, you've finished the book.  I really enjoyed reading how these two were like magnets from the first glance.  I laughed and fell in love right along with Malibu.  This author can create a sweet, sensual story without being graphic.  I loved that!  I have been recommending this book to everyone.  Ms. Ricci is a very down to earth writer.  Her characters just leap off the page.  Get this one.

I didn't find issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because I could picture a couple of my friends in Malibu's shoes.

Secret Invasion: The God Chronicles by Jon D. Zimmer

Michael and Susan just moved into the neighborhood.  Being busy people, they haven't had much time to get acquainted with everyone.  When their next door neighbor invites them to go on a picnic, they accept.  The day is beautiful and the company very pleasant. No one suspected a thing when four year old Adam suddenly seemed lethargic.  Neither family could imagine how that day would change their lives forever.
When Michael and Susan begin a discussion about attending church, Michael seemed a bit wary.  What he'd learn might just change his way of thinking. It will certainly change the Earth.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this book.  I couldn't begin to imagine where it would lead me.  The writing is amazing and the characters, well they are interesting to say the least.  I got pulled into this one and many times had to stop and digest what I read.  I found it to be an alternative to the apocalyptic story you see most often.  This book made me question some things I was taught. You'll have a bird's eye view of the situation.  This is a book I'd read again and again.

I did find one issue.  It's a bit long. It's worth the read, but it really is too long.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the length.

Lover's Lane: Summer Brides Collection By Sandra Edwards, Debra Elizabeth and Regina Duke

Maybe Baby, A Romance To Remember, An Unexpected Love, Waiting For Love, Love Again and Twice The Joy are the books that make up this collection.  Each book is filled with love happening in unique places.  A chance to get lost in the romance must not be missed.

Breathtakingly beautiful locations and the chance to experience true romance at it's best, is what this collection offers. I was so captivated by each of the books, I finished it in no time.  I didn't want this book to end.  I felt as if I were a friend watching  from nearby as each couple lived their romance. The variety of locations and men was simply amazing. I'm sure you'd find your next book-boyfriend here. I want to visit the places of each romance because they sound simply spectacular. The writing of each author is solid. The plotting makes these easy reads.  The characters are so relatable you'll see some of your own friends in each book.  Since we are traditionally coming up on wedding season, these are perfect.  Some of you brides might want to purchase this series for your bridesmaids and maid/matron of honor.  They can de-stress in the days leading up to your wedding. Don't miss this wonderful series.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because this series sparkles like the diamond on a bride.

You And I Together by Melissa Toppen

Anna is still trying to adjust to having Bentley around. Her decision to let him into her life has changed everything.  He consumes her thoughts, her heart and soul.  No matter how much she fights against it, Bentley breaks down those walls.
Bentley has slept with a lot of women. He never considered making one of them his.  Until Anna. She's everything he wants and more. He can't get her out of his mind and heart.  Bentley knows he can win Anna's heart if she will just give him the chance.
They both wonder where this will take them.

Ms Toppen is a magnificent storyteller. She knows just how to plot a book to keep you moving along. The characters are believable and nearly pop off the page. I found myself holding my breath in several parts of this book. I was so engaged in the story and the characters. It's honest and full of fire.  I can't wait for the next one.  You'll be transported with this book. Every place it takes you will be interesting. You can easily read this book in one sitting but you'll want to drag it out because it's one you won't want to end. Every woman imagines a man like this in her life. Now is your chance to have him.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's breathtaking.
